Question about CCE -eligibility - experience cut off: July or November?Edit

A few of us are UConn graduates that have been in the field now for 2 years (since the graduation of the 2-year internship program). Does this suffice for experience or are we still ineligible? (Where does that cutoff occur? Is it by the time that you're applying (July) or by the time of written exam (November)?) We are afraid to apply and then be told we are not eligible.

experience cut off is by the time you are applying!

per 2019 Candidate Handbook, page 4, years of engineering and/or clinical engineering practice must be met at time of application.

CCE Eligibility

If you read the CCE Handbook, at the top of page 4 is the statement "Years of engineering and/or clinical engineering practice must be met at the time of application", so you must meet the experience requirement at the time you submit your application.
You must also pro-rate any "internship" experience.  If 40 hrs per week is full time and you spent 30 hours in the internship each week, 18 months of internship experience is the equivalent of 13.5 months of full time clinical engineering experience.
