Question from potential candidate: how to prepare for the exam?Edit

I know at least a few that are interested in taking the CCE potentially this year/next year (including myself!). I think one question I had was sort of where I begin to get ready for the exam. I have the handbook and application, but other than reviewing the handbook, is there any other assistance or ways to prepare for the exam that we should know about?​

To prepare for the written exam, I used study guide as an outline for areas to study. Study guide does cover the outline and scope of questions we may expect in the CCE exam. References listed in the study guide are also important. I did spend 1-year of research by reading through several ACCE and AAMI BI&T articles, case studies, 24X7 magazine etc., and I also prepared a binder by grouping the articles and several reference materials. It helped me when preparing for the written exam.

How to prepare for the exam

ACCE will be holding a ten session webinar CCE review series starting Wednesday August 14th at noon.  This is a great way to prepare.  You can listen to others present an overview, receive study materials, determine your areas of weakness and identify where you should spend your personal study time.
This program is presented by Ted Cohen, Matt Baretich, Tobey Clark and Frank Painter.
