The World Health Organization is pleased to announce that the First Global Forum on Medical Devices to be held 9-11 September, 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The First Global Forum on Medical Devices will bring together policy makers, professional organizations, funding agencies and key stakeholders to foster interdisciplinary discussion and partnerships. The Forum is part of WHO's overall strategy to improve access to safe, effective and appropriate medical devices.

ACCE has been closely involved in planning for the First Global Forum on Medical Devices through its role on the International Organizing Committee.
